Shelley Hann, Alcheme Salon (owner/manager)
Shelley was born in Hollywood, CA, and began her hair styling career in Los Angeles, after having trained at Vidal Sassoon in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Over her exciting career, Shelley has been the proud owner of two prestigious salons in the Los Angeles area, with a large team of stylists who worked together successfully for many years.
Shelley’s career includes working with several leading stylists and salons, including John Peters / Allan Edwards Salons in LA, the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, her own salons in Sherman Oaks and Santa Clarita, Manager of Carlton Hair International Salon in Valencia and lastly with Salon Glo in Santa Clarita, CA before relocating to her new home in San Francisco.
At Alcheme Salon Shelley continues her passion for the beauty industry as co-owner/partner, here in our beautiful City by the bay.
In addition to her beauty career, for the past 25 years Shelley has produced special events and fund-raisers for several non-profit organizations in the Los Angeles area.
Anastasia has had a creative passion her whole life. After exploring different creative avenues, she felt that the beauty industry was her true calling. She has worked hard to master a wide range of techniques as well as build and become a well rounded stylist.
In addition to being an educator for Rene Furterer, her strength and emphasis in hair color have proven to be exceptional. Anastasia has trained with Wella and Goldwell color and prides herself on her balayage techniques.
Anastasia places great importance on listening to the individual needs of her clients and always strives for unsurpassed results.
Cia has a passion for styling hair design while striving to create a look her clients love.
Although a stylist and colorist for over 20 years, Cia is constantly refining and developing new techniques in color, cutting and hair design. Cia’s talents have been displayed at Macy’s Passport and local fashion shows.
On her days off she is busy having fun with her son and daughter.
Douglas da Silva
Douglas da Silva has worked in the beauty industry cutting hair, doing makeup, and generally making people look gorgeous since 2003. He has perfected the Yosh Toya hair design technique as well as completed advanced training at Vidal Sassoon in San Francisco and Bumble & Bumble in New York City.
He has worked with Mac Cosmetics and has had his haircuts featured in various hair trend magazines including Cut & Style. He is a native San Franciscan of proud Brazilian heritage. When he is not cutting hair, your may find him samba dancing in a parade or teaching group dance classes like zumba at a local studio. (instagram address @beautybydouglas)
Born and raised in Italy, Guido brings a spark to the mastery of hair. From ground breaking styles to precision barber cuts, Guido has the innate ability to transform any look.
When it comes to flawless color, you can’t go wrong with Hannah. She has spent her entire career mastering both classic and current trends to be the most versatile colorist around. Though she is always happy to accommodate any and all of her client’s desires, her truest love is balayage. Hannah is always eager to further her training, study new trends and gets her hands on any new products the market has to offer in order to provide her clients the best experience!
Helen has been in the hair and beauty industry for over 20 years in San Francisco. She has an artistic passion for hair, make-up, and style. She particularly enjoys staying current with the latest fashion and beauty trends, and integrates her hair artistry to complement them.
Helen believes in providing personalized beauty care service to find the best look for you, whether for a special occasion or for an everyday look. With her creative skills, there are endless possibilities in this ever-changing and exciting world of beauty and fashion.
Born in San Francisco and raised in Beijing, China, Janina experiences a unique multicultural upbringing. Her international diverse background lends to her ability to address a variety of tastes and styles. She has extensive experience in both cut and color, covering techniques for many different hair types. She specializes in using the latest industry methods, including fantasy color, balayage, and ombré. When not styling at Alcheme, Janina enjoys freshwater aquascaping, bellydancing and snowboarding.
Jessica was born and raised in Los Gatos, California, and has enjoyed a career as a hair stylist since 2004. Recognized for exceptional styling talent, Jessica is particularly skilled in the areas of curly hair, problematic hair, and fine or thinning hair that deserves a gentle touch and specialized treatments. She’s also particularly skilled at color and color correction.
Jessica’s talented hair artistry and enthusiasm/energy have helped to make her clients beautiful and stylish, most becoming life-long beneficiaries of her work.
When not creating hair “works of art” for her very satisfied clients, Jessica enjoys painting, arts and crafts, and gardening.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Tracy Mazza has been working “behind the chair” for over 20 years. She specializes in both cutting and coloring, drawing from her vast experience and Vidal Sassoon training. She loves classic shapes and silhouettes, but enjoys approaching them with a modern perspective. Her highlighting skills range from traditional foils to contemporary hand painted techniques. Tracy prides herself in working with her clients to provide looks that accentuate each individual’s appearance and suits their lifestyle.
Outside of the salon she loves exploring nature, particularly hiking in her native Marin County. Tracy is also an avid art admirer and enthusiastic home chef.
Travis was born in California’s Central Valley, and has lived in San Francisco for the past 15 years. He brings charm, charisma, and talent to the table. After mastering the Paul Mitchell color and cutting system, he broadened his knowledge into other product lines and techniques. Travis now pulls his skill set from Vidal Sassoon, Aveda, Evo and other lines that he has worked with over the years. He stays focused on new trends and is always eager to expand his knowledge.
If you don’t find Travis in the salon you might catch him out doing something adventurous!
